Brunhilt the Death Dealer by Huskelbullen Brunhilt the Death Dealer by Huskelbullen
An homage to one of my favorite artists, and the cover art for the first issue of Brunhilt. This one was proper freaking fun to make.

Awesome!  I love Frazetta!  You even signed your name in the same style.

Well, no not necessarily. Frazetta's signature was very meticulous, almost meditative in how it was made. With a very specific kind of look and style to it. The best example I can give as to how stylized it was would be his signature F. Which just consisted of two dots on a line. Almost impossible to figure out it was an F on its own, but in proper context it was clearly visible.

My signature is nowhere near as stylized and thought out as his. It's more of a reoccurring happy accident really.

You are correct.  I saw the red sort-of-cursive  signature and thought "hey, that's dedication to detail!"

Thank you! It was really fun to make. For being someone who has aped Frazetta so intensely though out my artistic career, I find it weird I haven't remade or redone any of his paintings like this before.

Its fun to mimic the greats :3 I should do that with Royo's stuff myself, but haven't yet gotten around to it, even if I do stick to the same subject-matter somewhat :3
